Yacht Charter Management Program
If you are a sailboat owner considering putting your sailboat into charter, we know how to help you make money on your sailboat and minimize the risk and problems associated with turning your sailboat into a business.
We are looking for more sailboats to add to our charter fleet operating out of Haven Harbour South in Rock Hall, MD. If you already own or are planning on purchasing a 30-40 foot sailboat in excellent condition, but your time schedule will not allow you to be on your yacht every week, we would like to put your yacht into our charter fleet allowing you to make money on your yacht when you do not have time to be on it.
You can still use your yacht anytime you want but of course the more you use it the less you will make chartering it. If you put your sailboat into our charter fleet, you can anticipate making money to pay for the repair, maintenance and slip fees for your yacht.
We would manage all the details of chartering your yacht including:
-Advertising and promoting your yacht for charter.
-Corresponding with prospective charters.
-Reviewing each application, checking charter references, qualifying and approving prospective charters.
-Accept deposits, payments, and handle financial details and arrangements of the charter so you get a check each month your yacht is in charter.
-Work with you to establish pricing policies for charter.
-Perform all check-in and check-out duties.
-Clean your boat at the end of each charter.
Captain In You Sailing Schools has taught thousands of students to sail and many of our qualified students want to charter sailboats. In addition to chartering your sailboat to our qualified students we will also market your yacht to experienced charterers, sail clubs, flotillas, etc. As a sailing school we are uniquely qualified to evaluate potential charters and if they are not qualified provide instruction to get them qualified so they can safely sail your yacht.
Haven Harbor South marina is an ideal place for a charter fleet with wide open access to slips for easy docking, close proximity to the Chesapeake Bay, and a beautiful facility with clean bathrooms/showers, picnic area, pool, and full service repair shop, competitive service rates, and proximity to restaurants and grocery stores.
We are especially interested in putting a 40-45 foot catamaran into charter. We could use a catamaran for student catamaran classes, instructor qualification clinics, captained charters, and bareboat charters. We also are very interested in putting a 36 foot monohull sailboat into charter since this size sailboat would be of interest to many of our students looking to transition from student to charterer. We are interested in older boats in great shape or newer boats for our fleet.
